Day three of three of our annual marketing summit. I kicked off the day sharing with the team some of the new tactics we will implement in the next 6 months. Stayed up late working on my presentation and woke up early to tweak. Spoke for nearly two hours and was fighting a nasty cold. Needless to say, I was exhausted by the time I made it back to Gville. All I wanted to do was curl up in the bed.
As most who know me would concur, once I set a goal, I do whatever it takes to meet the goal. So I persevered. I had to do something new even on this stressful, HARD day. So I took the easy road, no pun intended. I chose a new way to drive home from work. This route took my behind our local airport and through an industrial area. Though the route took a bit longer than my normal route, yellow bells and daffodils lined the road by the airport. The various yellow colors glistened in the sun and reminded me that Spring, a new beginning, was just around the corner.
